Dysport® injections are performed in one of our private treatment rooms at either our Warner Robins or Macon, GA location and take about 15 – 30 minutes. A local anesthetic or numbing cream is generally not needed since the Dysport® is injected using a fine-gauge needle that creates little pain. The treatment area will be cleaned and then we will carefully perform the injections of Dysport®, followed by a cold compress to limit swelling and bruising. Following your procedure at Ageless Aesthetics, you may perform regular tasks, but you should avoid taxing activities for at least one day. After your treatment, you may notice mild redness and swelling around the injection sites, but this typically will resolve on its own in 1 – 3 days. You should sleep propped up for the first night and may want to use cold compresses as needed. Results are usually seen within 1 – 3 days. You can expect your smoother, renewed appearance to last for around 3 – 4 months. To maintain your results, we can suggest when you should come in for follow-up treatments at Ageless Aesthetics.
The total cost depends on the amount of Dysport® used to attain your desired results. BOTOX® and Dysport® are safe and effective to correct dynamic facial wrinkles. Results from Dysport® generally develop faster compared to BOTOX®. Additionally, Dysport tends to last longer than other relaxers, and it is better for larger areas. In your pre-treatment consultation, your injector will decide if Dysport® or another wrinkle relaxer is better for you.

During your initial consultation, your injector will ask about your concerns and goals to help you choose if Dysport®, a dermal filler, or a mix of both will produce your best outcome.
