During your laser skin resurfacing treatment, you can relax in our special treatment chair while the ProFractional™ laser handpiece passes over your skin, directly targeting the specific sections for improvement. You will feel the heat of the laser followed by cold air from the built-in cooling system. The laser carefully works to eliminate damaged skin cells while also prompting new collagen growth.

Afterward, a healing ointment will likely be smoothed over your skin and you can return home to recover. Your skin will look red, and you will probably experience some irritation and swelling. This is normal and should subside in a few days, followed by the peeling process.

You can expect your skin to peel over a 3 – 5-day period. If you had a deeper laser treatment, your downtime may last between 2 – 3 weeks. Every patient should limit their sun exposure following their resurfacing appointment and use sun protection throughout the day. It is crucial to avoid interfering with the recovery process to keep from scarring and to protect your skin from environmental exposure. After the peeling process has been completed, the treated skin should feel smoother and look younger, clearer, and rejuvenated.

Ageless Aesthetics laser skin resurfacing treatments provide excellent outcomes if you are looking to get a more youthful complexion.
